Where does the teak Khine Industries uses come
from?
The teak we use for our products are from sustainable
forests as well as from long term managed plantations which have
maintained a rate of harvest equal to or less than the rate of
replanting in all over the country.

Is Khine Furniture treated with kiln dry?
Yes, we kiln dry to ensure the stability of our outdoor furniture
and control moisture content.

Why do occasional cracks appear on teak furniture?
Teak wood is a natural material and such fine cracks in the end gain
of components may appear and then disappear with changes in weather
and changes in the moisture content of wood. Occasional fine cracks
are normal and do not effect the life of your furniture.

How easy is it to assemble Krystal Furniture?
Some of Krystal Furniture are supplied with a fully assembled or
flat-packed in sub-assemblies to minimize the process of assembling
but most of them are knock-down furniture. All flat- packed items
comes complete with a pack of fittings and an easy to following
assembly instruction.

Do I need to make teak oil for Krystal Furniture?
If you want to preserve the color of your new garden furniture,
we recommend you use a teak sealer which is usually a solvent base
with water and easy to apply once on a yearly basic. You can easily
find it at marine stores which are used to on boats.

How can I clean Krystal Furniture?
Teak garden furniture requires maintenance with only mild soap water
to remove accumulated dirt with clean water. Then to get the
original color, use a teak sealer and cleaner from marine store.

Can I leave Krystal furniture outdoor all year round?
You can leave Krystal Furniture outdoor all year round without
cover. Over a period of time in an outdoor environment, untreated
teak will weather to silver grey. If you want to remove the silver-
grey patina and restore the furniture to original color, please
clean with above mentioned process.

Yes, Krystal Furniture manufactures teak garden furniture on
contracts, except in commercial quantities.
